Summertime slow down? #championforfamilies218

Its official my Etsy shop is in Holiday mode! If you receive Notifications from Etsy you can click the option for an Email notification when I reopen August 25th.

In the Meantime!

I have joined the #championforfamilies218 Fundraiser event with Ronald MacDonald House Charities here in Manitoba 🍁!

The Ronald MacDonald House Charities provide homes for the families of critically ill children; so they can stay close to their child in a safe welcoming space. This summer they have chosen the 218 number for our pledge to honor a family that needed the RMHC services for 218 days.

I feel so deeply for these families. When our daughter was 2yrs old she seriously injured her eye and needed immediate surgery. Being apart from our daughter for the time we were was hard, families who are waiting 218 days need support.

My pledge is to raise $500.00 help me by Donating directly through my pledge link

I am going to pledge to make
218 / 5 x 7 inch postcard style paintings
Throughout July and August this Summer.

Day 1

I am so thrilled to share that I am going to be able to help in a small way, Ronald MacDonald House Charities here in Manitoba.

They have finished a new home in Winnipeg.

-“RMHC Manitoba supports the health and well-being of children by providing a “home-away-from-home” and other services for critically ill, chronically ill and seriously injured children and their families.”
RMHC website.

I will be Donating ” Forest Fête ” one of my Fantastical Forest style paintings to be hung in a new RMCH. I am incredibly honored to be able to create a painting to help keep up hearts and Spirits.

Forest Fête Watch me recreate this on a 36 x36 inch canvas on Instagram! @maja_paints

I encourage my Manitoba Friends to take up the challenge!!!
